The Federal Government Contracts Manager will be responsible for the relationship and contracts between the company and clients/vendors/subcontractors.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Develop, manage and maintain all company contract files and tracking logs
  • Work in collaboration with accounting department to ensure integration of contracting information into accounting system
  • Examines performance requirements, delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Administration of contracts and support Project Management with tracking prime contract modifications
  • Reviews solicitations and prepares routine responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications
  • Analyzes contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and procedures
  • Responsible for resume screening, forwarding qualified candidates to the client, coordinating interviews, on-boarding new hires the contract, ensuring applications for badges, parking etc are completed and submitted
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to job sites as needed
  • Accountable for drafting, reviewing and negotiating all legal documents required to complete a customer transaction for products and/or services
  • Works in collaboration with Operations, HR, Accounting and Project Management to ensure contractual obligations are being met
  • May require travel out of state to meet with clients and employees regarding contract issues
  • Must have strong contract drafting experience and the ability to manage projects efficiently and successfully
  • Resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years experience working in a small business environment (Required)
  • 5 to 7 years experience in a contracts manager role, supporting government clients (Required)
  • Education and/or training in Contract Management or a related field
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Experience with contract terms & conditions reviews, profitability/analyses review and oversight of government contracts and programs
  • Experience managing the contracting life cycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of AP/AR

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Support Person to become a part of our team! You will be required to perform a variety of engineering tasks, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and receive approval for unscheduled jobs as they pertain to the assigned contracts.
  • Must be able to support and fill in at other facilities when short staffed due to vacations, sick leave or terminations

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent of at least 10 years in a senior facilities maintenance role in a hospital environment or commercial facility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs
  • Experience in budgeting, project management, vendor management, operations and maintenance experience.
  • Possess at least four (4) years of recent consecutive experience (within the past 7 years) directing personnel responsible for accomplishment of operations, construction, maintenance and repair work.
  • Excellent problem solving, leadership, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies 24/7
  • Must have strong analytical skills, exceptional organizational skills, superior oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
